Believe it or not, PRETTY TALK began with a passion to serve and empower boys involved in the juvenile justice system. This commitment has now expanded to enrich and impact more lives. Now serving girls, boys, and the communities that influence their environments, PRETTY TALK is committed to continuously improving experiences for youth and their caring adults.

Jasmine Davis is not a motivational speaker; she is an inspirational speaker. Her willingness to be open about her personal struggles as a young teen makes her instantly relatable to most students, who tend to think that they are the only ones going through difficult times. But Jasmine doesn't leave her story there; she connects how those trying times directly influenced her transformation into the highly effective and community-changing adult she is now. That is not only powerful for students to hear, but also empowering for them to realize that they, too, can have a positive impact on the world around them, no matter what their circumstances look like now.   Beyond the power of her story, Jasmine is also gifted with a stage presence that captivates the room. Her lively presentation style, warm personality, and intentionally engaging methods ensure even the most reluctant listeners walk away with something gained. I will be inviting Jasmine back year after year!

Jasmine served the Bethel Tabernacle Pentecostal Church (Boston, Massachusetts) for five years. Her impact left an invaluable impression on our church community. She engaged the youth and young adult ministries (and their families) with excellence, developing activities and teaching that not only encouraged their relationships with Christ, but also their mental, social, and physical well-being. The ability she demonstrated to serve multi-generations was evident through her commitment to facilitate programming to address their needs beyond the four walls of the church. 

Most importantly the relationships she established with the young people were influential because youth were comfortable enough to talk to her. They recognized she was not just completing a job or tasks, but her concern for them included success in their home, school & personal lives. I have had the pleasure of working with many young professionals over the years; however, Jasmine Davis is one individual I have worked with who uniquely stands out. During our time together, Jasmine displayed great talents in customer service, program development and outstanding leadership skills. She quickly became an intricate part of developing and growing our branch. Jasmine is always eager to learn and strategically plan & assist in developing/implementing programs and resources to better serve our community. Jasmine has a passion for helping people become a better version of themselves through resources, community events or just listening to their needs. She has the ability to connect with people of all ages. Jasmine is a joy to work with because of her amazingly positive attitude and ability to lead by example. She is loved and respected by our staff as well as our members.
